How big does a property management company need to be for AI data programs?

Short answer: Under published rules, a property manager needs 50+ employees for Mode and 30+ for micro1 or Anthagen. About 3,200 U.S. property management firms have 30+ employees and about 1,700 have 50+ (Census 2022).

Minimums by program

Mode lists minimum team sizes of 10+ employees for legal, 15+ for accounting, medical and finance, and 50+ for all other businesses, for companies based in the US, Canada, the UK or Australia with several years of records they own (Mode). micro1 asks for 30+ employees, mostly English data, and says it is prioritizing US companies (micro1). Anthagen asks for 30+ employees and English-language data, in any country (Anthagen).

Frequently asked questions

Do part-time staff count?

The programs don't define this publicly. Mode's FAQ bands use full-time US staff, so ask the buyer.

Do maintenance techs count?

The programs don't say. Mode's FAQ says offers depend on how many people work in the company's systems.
