Can an insurance agency sell its data to AI?

Short answer: Mode's affiliate FAQ lists insurance among industries that are not a fit. Agencies with 30+ employees may still fit micro1 or Anthagen's published size rules, but GLBA privacy rules and carrier agreements limit what policyholder data can be shared.

Program fit

Mode's FAQ: staffing agencies, insurance, title and escrow companies are not a fit (Mode affiliate FAQ). micro1 asks for 30+ employees, mostly English data, and says it is prioritizing US companies (micro1). Anthagen asks for 30+ employees and English-language data, in any country (Anthagen).

Privacy

GLBA sets privacy rules for financial institutions (FTC GLBA overview); for insurance businesses those rules are enforced by state insurance regulators, and state insurance privacy laws and carrier contracts add limits.
